Get ready for a wild and unforgettable night this Halloween as The Future Shape of Sound bring their outrageous live show to town! This (up to) 10-piece collective, led by visionary producer Alex McGowan aka Captain Future, is not your average band — they are a genre-bending, soul-shaking force of nature. Think crime gospel meets rock’n’roll, drenched in blues, soul, and a whole lot of swagger.
Visualise a gang of gospel singers and rock’n’roll rebels tearing it up in a haunted circus tent, and you’ll get the idea. With shimmering choir harmonies, gritty Hammond organ grooves, soul-drenched sax riffs and raw, rolling guitars — this is a Halloween party like no other.
The Future Shape of Sound are fronted by powerful female vocals, backed by an equally fiery chorus of singers, bringing fierce energy and balance to the stage. They’ve converted crowds at Bestival, Shambala, Secret Garden Party, Hipsville, Grillstock, Wilderness, and The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club, and now they’re here to deliver a musical exorcism you won’t forget.
